Teaching Children to Care for Their Bodies Is Also Protecting Them

The Municipal DIF held a talk to help children recognize their boundaries and prevent child sexual abuse.

The Municipal DIF System, chaired by Ms. Jazmín Villar, held the talk “I Can Say NO, My Body Is MINE!” at Vicente Guerrero Elementary School. The session provided students with essential preventive tools to recognize their bodily boundaries and help prevent child sexual abuse.

Through its Together Creating Support Networks area, the institution continues to promote safe spaces for dialogue where children can learn to care for themselves, express their concerns, and understand the importance of asking trusted adults for help.

These informational talks also reinforce the commitment to protecting the well-being and rights of Huatulco’s children by ensuring ongoing support for their welfare and full development.
