With the aim of preventing drainage network contamination and protecting the environment, supervisory visits were conducted to verify the correct functioning of grease traps in tourist establishments, key actions for responsible waste management and the care of natural resources.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Sustainability, carried out these reviews at the Alikar and Barceló hotels, as part of the permanent follow-up to environmental compliance and the strengthening of the municipality's sustainable development.
