With the commitment to preserve the natural and tourist wealth of our coasts, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone (ZOFEMAT) and in collaboration with waitstaff from Santa Cruz, La Entrega, and Maguey beaches, carried out a cleaning day focused on the removal of solid waste.
During the activity, the following were collected:
- Organic waste: 120 kg
- Inorganic waste: 7.4 kg
These actions strengthen environmental awareness and promote shared responsibility to keep our beaches clean, safe, and attractive for locals and visitors.
