As part of the follow-up to the international standards of the Blue Flag program, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone (ZOFEMAT), carried out solid waste monitoring on the Santa Cruz, Pescadores, and Chahué beaches, recognized for their environmental and tourist excellence.
During the day, the following results were recorded:
- Hard plastics: 2 units
- Paper: 3 units
- Shells: 9 units
- Wax: 3 units
These actions guarantee the cleanliness, safety, and sustainability of our beaches, strengthening the confidence of those who enjoy them and reaffirming the commitment to protecting the coastal environment.
