ZOFEMAT Carries Out Actions to Maintain Certifications and Protect the Coastline

Huatulco's ZOFEMAT conducted the monthly beach profile, essential for maintaining Blue Flag and Playa Platino certifications across several beaches.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, carried out the monthly beach profile, a requirement to maintain the Blue Flag, MNX-AA-120-SCFI-2016, and Playa Platino certifications in Santa Cruz, Pescadores, Chahué, Órgano, La Entrega, and Violín.

This analysis allows for the evaluation of natural and human changes along the coastline, strengthening the sustainable and safe management of the beaches in Bahías de Huatulco.
