With the participation of over 80 local, national, and international vessels, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Tourism Council and the Costa Pacífico de Huatulco A.C. Sports Fishing Club, held the XIII Huatulco International Fishing Tournament 2025.
The event featured a special monitoring protocol in coordination with the Fishing Committee, Civil Protection, Port Authority, and the Naval Zone, which ensured the safety of the teams and their families throughout the competition. Thanks to this joint effort, the tournament concluded without incident.

The event concluded with an atmosphere of celebration and tradition, featuring a popular dance enlivened by Los Conde de Oaxaca and La Riata Costeña, filling the heart of Huatulco with music and joy.
The Municipal Government not only reaffirms its commitment to sustainable sports tourism but also consolidates Huatulco as an international benchmark in sport fishing.
