The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Women's Institute (INMUJER), in coordination with Punto Violeta and the Municipal Health Area, launched the activities of the “Municipal Program of Strategic Actions,” aimed at strengthening the prevention and attention of gender violence against women in our municipality.
Within the framework of Valentine's Day, the talk “Prevention of Dating Violence” was given at the “José Vasconcelos” General Secondary School in Santa María Huatulco, benefiting 120 students, with the objective of raising awareness about the importance of respect, equality, healthy communication, and the identification of risk behaviors in relationships, especially among adolescents.
