With the aim of providing greater safety to students, teachers, and parents, painting work was carried out on curbs and speed bumps on the main avenue of the municipal seat, in front of Technical Secondary School No. 61, located in Colonia Centro. These actions contribute to improving the visibility of road signage and reinforcing prevention in one of the roads with the highest vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the town.
The work was carried out by the Municipal Public Services Directorate, through the painting and signage brigade, as part of the actions promoted by the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, to maintain safer, more orderly, and functional spaces for everyone.
Motorists are urged to respect speed limits and drive with caution in this school zone.
