WE CLEANED BEACHES AND THE SEABED TO PROTECT OUR ECOSYSTEMS

The Municipal Government cleaned El Órgano and El Violín beaches, including the seabed, to protect marine ecosystems.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, carried out cleaning campaigns at El Órgano Beach and El Violín Beach, addressing both the sandy shoreline and the seabed. The objective was to remove solid waste, prevent sources of pollution, and contribute to the conservation of marine flora and fauna.

At El Órgano Beach, 5 kg of inorganic waste were collected from the beach and seabed, with the participation of street vendors. At El Violín Beach, 2 kg of inorganic waste were removed. These actions are part of the ongoing efforts to keep our beaches clean, safe, and in better condition for residents and visitors.
