The Municipal DIF System, chaired by Lic. Jazmín Villar, launched Grandparents’ Day Week 2026 with a joyful day of care and special attention for the older adults who gathered at the DIF Bahías facilities. During the event, they enjoyed relaxing massages, haircuts, manicures, pedicures, and gel manicures, recognizing the importance of every detail in helping them feel valued and respected.
On behalf of the institution, Lic. Jazmín Villar sincerely thanked the entire team and everyone who joined efforts to provide our grandparents with the care they deserve. She also extended a cordial invitation to Huatulco families to continue supporting and participating in the upcoming activities scheduled as part of this celebration, thoughtfully designed to continue sharing their stories and creating new memories together.
In addition, these actions reaffirm the organization’s commitment to dignifying older adulthood by promoting spaces for fellowship, care, and inclusion that celebrate life, wisdom, and all the love they have taught us across generations.
