The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Tourism and in conjunction with the destination's tourism sector, concluded a prominent participation in the Anato 2026 Tourism Showcase, one of the most important international tourism events.
Huatulco's presence at this international showcase is part of the momentum Oaxaca is experiencing in tourism promotion, highlighting the vision of the State Secretary of Tourism, Mtra. Saymi Pineda Velasco, and the entire team of the Oaxaca State Secretariat of Tourism, focused on supporting and strengthening the international projection of Oaxacan destinations.
During this event, strategic alliances were consolidated with travel agents, airlines, wholesalers, and sector professionals, through working meetings with representatives from CIC Travel LATAM, led by its CEO Andrés Rincón, along with Mauricio Osuna and his team, as well as with Aeromexico, through its commercial manager for Colombia and LATAM, Edwin Ramírez, allowing the natural, cultural, and gastronomic richness that distinguishes Huatulco to be projected to the world.
The joint work between authorities and the tourism sector continues to open new opportunities to position the destination in international markets and further consolidate Huatulco as one of Oaxaca's main gateways to the world.
