In Santa María Huatulco, the 3rd Forest Fire Prevention Day was held, an effort organized by federal and state entities, in which the Municipal Government, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, actively participated through the Directorates of Civil Protection and Huatulco Firefighters and Education.
This important event brought together agencies from the three levels of government, as well as public and private sector institutions, reaffirming the joint commitment to protect our natural environment.
The central purpose was to strengthen community awareness and training to reduce risks during the dry season and promote preventive practices that help avoid forest fires.
In Huatulco, we continue to add efforts for the prevention, safety, and protection of our natural resources!
