Shoring Work to Prevent Risks in the Old Market

Santa María Huatulco's Municipal Government is undertaking shoring and hoarding work at the Old Market to protect its structure and ensure safety.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco continues to advance in the restoration process of the Old Market, one of the spaces with the greatest historical value and significance for our municipality. As part of this process, and in accordance with the guidelines of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), shoring work and the placement of hoardings are being carried out. These preventive actions will protect the structure and provide greater safety while management efforts continue.
These measures seek to preserve this important heritage for present and future generations. The Municipal Government, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, will continue to inform citizens about each stage of this project, reaffirming its commitment to the preservation of the history of Santa María Huatulco and the safety of everyone.
