Tourism Boosted in Huatulco Through Coordinated Efforts

Huatulco's Municipal Government held the 3rd Session of the Municipal Tourism Advisory Council (CCMT) to boost tourism development.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, held the 3rd Ordinary Session of the Municipal Tourism Advisory Council (CCMT), with the participation of representatives from the three levels of government, as well as the hotel sector, restaurant industry, travel agencies, and tourism service providers.

During the session, the new members of the CCMT were sworn in, highlighting the incorporation of the Federal Directorate of the Integrally Planned Center (CIP) into the Council. Furthermore, the results report of the platinum membership with the FCCA was presented, and strategic dialogues were held to strengthen tourism in the region.

With a shared vision, inter-institutional coordination, and commitment to development, the objective of consolidating Huatulco as a safe, competitive destination with national and international projection is reaffirmed.

The Municipal Government recognizes tourism as a key driver of well-being, employment, and growth. Therefore, it continues to promote concrete actions that position Huatulco as a source of pride for Oaxaca and all of Mexico.
