Together committed to a cleaner and more sustainable future!

The Municipal Government of Huatulco conducted a workshop on reducing single-use plastics and promoting sustainability.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Sustainability, carried out the workshop “Zero Waste: A common goal”, aimed at collaborators of the current administration.

This space was intended to train and sensitize staff on the importance of reducing the use of single-use plastics within municipal facilities, as well as promote sustainable practices in daily life, both in the workplace and at home.

These actions are aligned with the objectives of the National Campaign for Cleaning and Conservation of Beaches and Coasts of Mexico 2025–2030, promoted by SEMARNAT, which promotes more environmentally responsible government environments.

We move forward with awareness, building a stronger environmental culture for the well-being of Huatulco and future generations!
