Within the framework of FESTUR 2025, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Sustainability, delivered the workshop "Waste Separation and the Impact of Plastics in the Sea" to students of Centro Escolar Huatulco.
During the session, students actively participated in a drawing contest and educational dynamics, reflecting on the problem of plastics in the oceans and their consequences for marine life.
Furthermore, this action is part of the municipal campaign "In Huatulco we separate into 3: organic, recyclable inorganic, and non-recyclable inorganic," which promotes the culture of waste separation from classrooms and homes.
Together we build a cleaner and more sustainable Huatulco!
