Joining Efforts for a Life Free from Violence for Women

Huatulco joins efforts to prevent and eradicate gender-based violence against women.

Through the Municipal Institute for Women, a Working Session of the Municipal Council for the Prevention, Assistance, Sanctioning and Eradication of Gender-Based Violence against Women (PASEVGM) was held. The session provided a space to follow up on agreements, assess progress and strengthen the coordinated actions carried out in our municipality.

The session included the participation of Psychologist Elizabeth Zenelly Monterrubio Vásquez, Gender Unit Liaison of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, strengthening interinstitutional coordination to advance the prevention, assistance, sanctioning and eradication of gender-based violence.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, continues to promote joint actions to provide better assistance and build safer, dignified environments free from violence for women.
