The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, carried out a comprehensive cleanup at Chahué Beach and its surrounding areas, addressing the sandy shoreline, channel, pier, and rocky areas. As part of the work, the sand was also screened, removing 54 kilograms of organic and inorganic waste.
With the participation of personnel from the Twentieth Naval Zone, efforts to prevent waste from reaching the sea and to contribute to the conservation of our coastal ecosystems are being strengthened. The Municipal Government will continue working and joining efforts for cleaner and better-maintained beaches.
