The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Sustainability, successfully conducted the “Camarota” Workshop: Creation of Ecological Photographic Cameras, within the framework of the Alas de Huatulco Festival.
Taught by Lic. César M. Jarquín Díaz, the workshop brought together young people and the general public, who learned the basic principles of photography by constructing pinhole cameras with recycled materials. During the activity, participants took photographs, learned about the manual developing process, and concluded with an exhibition of their images, including bird captures and a photographic display.
With these actions, the Municipal Government reaffirms its commitment to environmental education, recycling, and the promotion of creative activities that strengthen ecological and cultural awareness in our community.
