The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, continues to promote responsible actions for the separation of waste in coastal zones and areas under its jurisdiction.
As part of the requirements indicated by the Blue Flag certification, the certifications team at ZOFEMAT applies the methodology “The Beach Litter Measuring System“, a specialized system for cleaning our beaches.
We invite citizens, visitors, establishments, and tourism service providers to actively join this strategy for proper waste management, with the aim of keeping our beaches clean and protecting the natural environment that surrounds us.
