A cleanup and maintenance effort was carried out at Playa Chahué, including sand screening with rakes and screens to remove smaller waste, as well as work in adjacent areas. These actions help prevent waste from reaching the sea and contribute to protecting our coastal environment.
During the effort, 16 kilograms of organic and inorganic waste were collected. The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, continues to carry out ongoing actions to keep our beaches clean, orderly, and in better condition.
