The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco reports that, following a report received last night in Maguey Bay, where tourists from Puebla requested assistance due to the alleged disappearance of a young man, Public Security and Civil Protection elements immediately activated search operations in the area.
The efforts were carried out during the night and were suspended around midnight, without the young man being located at that time.
This Friday morning, it was confirmed that the young man was located and is safe. Preliminarily, it was indicated that he had voluntarily kept himself apart, so further details are being withheld to protect his integrity and privacy.
The Municipal Government reiterates its commitment to respond responsibly and promptly to any call, prioritizing the safety of residents and visitors.
