The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Health Directorate and in coordination with Health Jurisdiction 04 Costa, the Sanitary Emergency Intelligence Unit (UIES) of the Oaxaca Health Services, and the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), held a working meeting to implement strategies and actions focused on the intentional search for febrile exanthematous diseases.
Likewise, preparations are underway for the start of the National Vaccination Week, in which various health sector institutions will participate. During this campaign, vaccines included in the National Vaccination Card scheme will be administered, including the measles vaccine.
These actions aim to prevent vaccine-preventable diseases and protect the health of the population of Santa María Huatulco, as well as its agencies, neighborhoods, and communities.
