The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, officially presented the scepter and traditional attire to Mrs. Petra Mijangos Arguelles, who will proudly represent the municipality in the Goddess Centéotl Contest 2025, to be held on June 28 and 29 in Oaxaca City.
This important contest is part of the Guelaguetza celebrations and recognizes the knowledge, identity, and cultural participation of Oaxacan women in their communities.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco proudly accompanies this journey of representation, identity, and culture.
