Through the Lifeguards of Civil Protection and Huatulco Firefighters, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, carried out the rescue of a young person who entered the sea in an incapacitated state. Unable to return on their own, the team proceeded to safely extract them to the shore.
Upon presenting compromised vital signs, immediate first aid was provided. Subsequently, they were transferred by previously requested emergency units to the nearest hospital for specialized medical attention.
The timely intervention of the lifeguards allowed for safeguarding the life of the swimmer and maintaining safety in the area.
