Members of the Civil Protection and Fire Department of Santa María Huatulco immediately responded to a report of a vehicle accident in which several people were injured. Trained personnel were dispatched to carry out rescue, assessment, and transportation efforts so that those affected could receive medical attention.
Coordination between the emergency response teams of Santa María Huatulco and Pluma Hidalgo, along with support from the Municipal Health Department, enabled a timely response to the emergency. The Municipal Government, headed by Engineer Julio Cárdenas, continues to strengthen its response capacity to safeguard the well-being of the population.
