The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, reports that the Civil Protection team, together with lifeguards and elements of the Municipal Police, went to Barra de la Cruz to provide immediate attention to Captain Jorge Antonio Lavariega González, who was located with vital signs after swimming for hours in search of help.
After his medical evaluation, the captain was transferred to the Port Captaincy, where he was received by his family. This action is the result of coordinated work between authorities and citizens, demonstrating that when there is commitment and solidarity, hope always remains.
