We Strengthen Institutional Coordination Ahead of Hurricane Season
Santa María Huatulco's Municipal Government strengthens coordination and preparedness for hurricane season, reviewing departmental roles for efficient emergency response.
As part of the actions outlined in the Municipal Contingency Plan for Natural Disasters, a working meeting was held today, led by the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters, with the participation of various departments of the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas. The objective was to strengthen coordination and preparedness for the hurricane season, which began on May 15.
During the meeting, the functions and responsibilities corresponding to each department before, during, and after an emergency were reviewed, in order to ensure a timely and efficient response to any situation that may arise.
These preventive actions strengthen the capacity to assist and protect the population, reaffirming the Municipal Government's commitment to work in an organized manner to safeguard the integrity of Huatulco families.
