The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided by Eng. Julio Cárdenas Ortega, through the Sustainability Directorate, successfully carried out the 1st Community Circular Market, under the motto: “At home I recycle, reduce and reuse”.
This initiative, which invites citizens to exchange PET or aluminum cans for basic food basket products, had great participation. Residents of various neighborhoods and colonies actively joined, contributing to the care of the environment and promoting a circular economy.
In this noble activity, more than 2 tons of plastic and almost 200 kg of aluminum were collected, a collective effort that drives us to continue working together for a more sustainable future.
