The awards ceremony for the 4th Calentona Sailfish Tournament, held in honor of Saint Jude Thaddeus, took place at Bahía Maguey. The event brought together sport fishermen and promoted this activity in our tourist destination.
In the Sailfish category, first place went to the boat La Mamalona, captained by Ramiro Vázquez, with a 29.800 kg catch. The award was supported by the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco.
The Municipal Government, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, congratulates all participants and continues to support activities that strengthen sport fishing, our traditions, and community life.
