The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, conducted water sampling on Blue Flag certified beaches, with the purpose of guaranteeing water quality and protecting the health of users.
These actions allow for the detection of contaminants, ensure compliance with national and international standards, and preserve the marine and coastal environment.
The monitoring is carried out monthly on Chahué, Santa Cruz, and Pescadores (Santa Cruz) beaches, reaffirming the Municipal Government's commitment to the safety and sustainability of Huatulco's tourist destinations.
