In response to the rainfall recorded in the municipality, personnel from Civil Protection and Firefighters of Santa María Huatulco are conducting preventive patrols to check river and stream levels. So far, points in La Mina, Paso Ancho, and La Erradura Bridge have been inspected, with no overflows or damage reported and levels remaining within safe ranges.
Monitoring will continue permanently while the rains persist. Residents are advised to remain attentive to official notices and avoid approaching or attempting to cross rivers and streams in the event of a possible rise in water levels.
