Civil Protection Responds to Rescue of Brigade Members in Forest Area

Huatulco Civil Protection rescued seven brigade members from Communal Goods and CONAFOR in El Hule. They presented dehydration and fatigue, no hospitalization needed.

The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters, promptly responded to a call for assistance on the night of Monday, February 2.

Support was requested to locate a group of individuals belonging to the Communal Goods for Environmental Services and CONAFOR brigade, who were carrying out firebreak work in the community of El Hule.

Personnel arrived at the scene aboard an ambulance, a rescue unit, and a light unit, conducting ground search operations. As a result of the operation, six male and one female individuals were located. They received pre-hospital assessment, presenting dehydration and fatigue, but did not require hospital transfer.
