Civil Protection Acts to Preserve the Species
Huatulco Civil Protection rescued a boa constrictor from an elevated tank in Hacienda Vieja. It was released into its natural habitat to preserve the species. Citizens are urged to report.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters Huatulco, responded to a citizen report from the community of Hacienda Vieja, informing about the presence of a snake in an elevated tank.
The boa constrictor was safely captured and subsequently released into its natural habitat, with the purpose of preserving the species and maintaining ecological balance.
The Municipal Government reiterates its commitment to the protection of wildlife and urges citizens to report any similar situation to Civil Protection emergency numbers.
