Promoting Environmental Education Through Composting Workshops

Huatulco's Municipal Government, on World Environment Day, held a Composting Workshop with students to promote environmental care and organic waste use.

Within the framework of World Environment Day, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through the Directorate of Sustainability, continues to promote environmental education actions that encourage the participation of children in the care of our environment. As part of these activities, a Composting Workshop was held in collaboration with GIZ and CONECKTA, with the participation of 6th grade "B" students from Centro Escolar Huatulco Primary School.
During the workshop, students learned about the importance of utilizing organic waste and transforming it into compost, a practice that contributes to soil care, waste reduction, and environmental protection.

The Municipal Government, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, continues to promote actions that strengthen environmental culture and foster sustainable habits to build a Huatulco more aware and committed to the conservation of its natural resources.
