Preventive Patrols: Civil Protection Conducts Beach Patrols to Inform Tourists About Weather Conditions

Civil Protection patrols Huatulco beaches to inform tourists about weather. Caution is advised for water sports; avoid swimming due to increasing winds and swell.

According to information issued by the Port Captaincy, due to weather conditions, Civil Protection brigades are conducting patrols on the beaches because, according to the forecast, wind gusts are starting to increase in the jurisdiction, reaching up to 50 km/h, and an increase in swell is also being observed.
In order to prevent accidents, we invite our citizens to:
  • Exercise extreme caution with water sports near the shore.
  • Avoid visiting beaches without lifeguard supervision or emergency services.
  • Avoid swimming on the beaches.
  • Follow the recommendations of Civil Protection and Huatulco Firefighters.
