The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal Institute for Women in coordination with the Municipal DIF System and the Crime Prevention Unit, held the talk “Prevention of Violence Against Women,” aimed at representatives of sectors and neighborhoods in Bahías de Huatulco.
This activity aimed to raise awareness and educate to eradicate structural causes, gender stereotypes, and social norms that perpetuate violence, promoting egalitarian relationships, identifying warning signs, and disseminating reporting mechanisms to ensure a life free from violence.
