Healthcare Staff Trained in Gender Perspective

The IMM and DIF Huatulco trained Santa María Huatulco Community Hospital staff on gender perspective and violence prevention for more humane and equal care.

The Municipal Institute for Women, in coordination with the DIF Huatulco System, conducted the talk “Strengthening Gender Perspective and Violence Prevention,” aimed at the staff of the Santa María Huatulco Community Hospital.

This activity aimed to raise awareness among healthcare staff about the importance of incorporating a gender perspective into care, providing tools to prevent revictimization, strengthen timely detection, and improve the referral of women in vulnerable situations. The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco continues to promote actions that foster more humane, egalitarian, and violence-free care.
