As part of the guidelines established by the Blue Flag program, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Municipal ZOFEMAT Directorate, carried out the monthly beach profile in the certified areas of Santa Cruz, Pescadores, and Chahué.
This technical procedure allows evaluating characteristics such as land morphology, sediment composition, and the behavior of waves and currents, elements that are constantly modified by natural factors and human activities. Its periodic monitoring is fundamental for proper coastal management and conservation.
