In order to comply with the guidelines of the NMX-AA-120-SCFI-2016 Standard and the Platinum Beach certification, the monthly beach profile measurement was carried out on the certified beaches of Órgano, Chahué, Violín, and La Entrega. This activity generates technical information to strengthen maintenance, conservation, and continuous improvement actions for the coastal environment.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT directorate, continues to promote actions for beach care, conducting monitoring that allows tracking the evolution of the coastline, preventing environmental impacts, and maintaining the environmental quality standards that distinguish our tourist destination.
