As part of the actions to maintain the standards of the international Blue Flag certification, water quality monitoring and sampling work was carried out on the certified beaches of Santa Cruz, Pescadores, and Chahué.
These evaluations allow for the follow-up of microbiological parameters of seawater, ensuring suitable conditions for recreational use, the conservation of coastal ecosystems, and compliance with the environmental criteria established by Blue Flag.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, through ZOFEMAT, continues to promote monitoring and environmental protection actions to preserve clean, safe, and environmentally responsible beaches.
