With the aim of keeping the beach free of visible solid waste and micro-waste, as well as preventing marine pollution, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone (ZOFEMAT), carried out a cleanup day at Playa Pescadores.
As a result, 11,670 kilograms of waste were collected (9,320 kg inorganic and 2,350 kg organic), strengthening the preventive maintenance of the coastline and contributing to preserving the environmental and aesthetic quality of our beaches.
