Santa Cruz Beach Cleanup
Santa Cruz Beach cleanup collected 38 kg of waste. The Municipal Government and ZOFEMAT thank participants for maintaining Blue Flag certification.
With the aim of maintaining the beach in optimal conditions of hygiene and safety, a manual cleaning and mechanical screening day was carried out at Santa Cruz Beach, collecting 38 kg of waste (8 kg organic and 30 kg inorganic), preventing debris such as plastics and cigarette butts from being dragged into the sea.
The Municipal Government, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through ZOFEMAT, thanks restaurateurs, nautical service providers, and street vendors for their participation, reaffirming the joint commitment to preserve the Blue Flag certification and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe space for visitors and the local community.
