The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, led by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, carried out an underwater cleanup operation at Chachacual and La India beaches, with the aim of safely removing accumulated solid waste.
During the cleanup, inorganic waste such as plastic, metal, glass, textiles, fishing lines, rope, buoys, and hard plastic were collected.
The Municipal Government reaffirms its commitment to protecting the marine environment and the well-being of those who enjoy our beaches.
