Informed Youth: STI Prevention and Correct Condom Use
Informative talks at Technical Secondary School No. 61 raise awareness among youth about correct condom use and the prevention of STIs, HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C.
Within the framework of International Condom Day, commemorated on February 13, informative talks were given at Technical Secondary School No. 61, aimed at third-grade students, with the primary objective of raising awareness about the importance of correct condom use as a prevention method.
During the sessions, topics related to contraceptive methods were addressed, as well as the prevention of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C.
Additionally, male condoms were distributed as part of the preventive actions.
These activities were carried out through the health department of the municipal government of Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, and in coordination with COESIDA, reaffirming the commitment to health and prevention among Huatulco's youth.
