With the valuable assistance of nautical service providers, snorkelers, oyster farmers, and street vendors, the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the ZOFEMAT Directorate, carried out a cleanup campaign on Santa Cruz, La Entrega, and Pescadores beaches.
The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness and prevent waste from reaching the ocean, where it can cause irreversible damage to marine ecosystems.
A total of 86.4 kg of inorganic waste and 35 kg of organic waste were collected.
Let's continue working together for the preservation and responsible use of our municipality's beaches!
