Environmental Education Day at Chahué Beach
Huatulco's Municipal Government held an environmental education day at Chahué Beach for children, focusing on coastal flora, sea turtle, and clean beach conservation.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Sustainability and ZOFEMAT, carried out an environmental education day at Chahué Beach, aimed at children from Centro Escolar Huatulco.
During this activity, through games and educational dynamics, students learned about the importance of conserving coastal flora, protecting sea turtles, and keeping beaches free of waste, highlighting the environmental value that distinguishes Chahué Beach as a Blue Flag beach.
This event was supported by Costa Salvaje and Tortuguero Huatulco, who provided didactic material for the development of the activities. Likewise, the initiative and commitment of the teachers are recognized, as they promoted this experiential learning that strengthens environmental education in new generations.
