Within the framework of World Tsunami Awareness Day (WTAD), the Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, through the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters Huatulco, attended the International Forum “Tsunamis: from knowledge to action”, organized by the State Coordination of Civil Protection and Risk Management, at the Secret’s Huatulco Hotel.
The meeting brought together authorities, specialists, and institutional representatives to strengthen prevention and response strategies against natural phenomena, commemorating the tenth anniversary of this important date that promotes awareness and preparation for geological risks.
