Through coordinated efforts, Huatulco Civil Protection and Firefighters, along with the Municipal Police, assisted the Red Cross in caring for a 70-year-old woman from Canada who was experiencing dehydration and disorientation.
After receiving prehospital care, the agencies worked together to safely transfer her from the beach to the ambulance and subsequently to a hospital for continued medical attention.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, headed by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, is strengthening interinstitutional coordination to respond promptly to emergency situations.
