Interinstitutional Inspection in Restaurants of Maguey Bay

An interinstitutional inspection was conducted in Maguey Bay restaurants to prevent contamination, verify sanitary compliance, waste management, and safety protocols.

With the objective of preventing contamination of the federal zone and strengthening the care of the coastal environment, an interinstitutional inspection was carried out in restaurants of Maguey Bay. The inspection verified the correct functioning and maintenance of grease traps, separation and management of solid waste, collection of used vegetable oil, and compliance with sanitary requirements in food handling. Likewise, the application of safety protocols, validity and operation of fire extinguishers, as well as the condition of gas tanks and installations, were reviewed.
The Municipal Government of Santa María Huatulco, presided over by Eng. Julio Cárdenas, promoted this preventive action through the coordination of the ZOFEMAT, Sustainability, Civil Protection and Firefighters, Commerce, Urban Development, Municipal Health, Municipal Police, and Public Works departments, strengthening joint supervision to guarantee responsible practices that contribute to environmental protection and the orderly tourism development of our beaches.
